Premium heating fuel & animal bedding pellets
Pellet fuel for home heating can be burned in a freestanding pellet stove, fireplace insert, or a furnace. A pellet stove looks much like a wood stove but is automated. Heating a home with pellet fuel requires only the ability to add pellets into a hopper, set the desired heat output, and clean out an ash pan periodically. All other aspects of the heating process occur automatically.
Go green with Patterson Wood Pellets. By using wood pellet fuel, you help reduce society's dependence on oil and gas. Wood pellet fuel also diminishes waste destined for landfills.

When softened by adding 1 to 1.5 gallons of water per bag, our pellets expand 3–4 times their compressed volume. This bedding is highly absorbent and easy to sift. Five to six bags will start a 12 x 12 stall and that is all that is needed.
Wood pellets are sawdust and wood shavings compacted into tightly condensed pellets. They provide a clean, efficient, and reliable form of renewable energy or highly absorbent animal bedding.
Yes. Wood pellets burn cleanly and efficiently in pellet stoves, fireplace inserts, and furnaces, producing 8,600+ BTUs per pound with minimal ash.
Usage varies by stove size and home insulation, but an average home burns through 2–3 tons per heating season. Contact us for guidance specific to your setup.
The natural lignin in pine acts as a binding agent during the compression process, giving the pellets their smooth, shiny surface. No additives or binders are used.
